Welcoming Our New Caretaker & Innkeeper

We welcome Todd Westhuis and Mary Harding, from south of Albany area. In their interview they said they are looking forward to the challenge of innkeeper and caretaker for such a prestigious and historic property as St. William’s at Long Point. It will be both professionally and personally rewarding in this chapter of their lives.

Todd recently retired from New York State service after a long career as an operations leader and civil engineer. Mary is still working in the field of transportation and will be joining Todd on some weeknights and weekends in this role.

They pride themselves as personable, energetic, highly organized, and passionate about the Adirondacks. They grew up camping (Todd going to Camp Fowler in Speculator every summer and Mary camping with her family in Indian Lake on the islands and the greater Lake George area) and have since carried their affection for the outdoors and the Adirondacks throughout adulthood by continuing a love of skiing, camping, fishing, hiking, and boating in the North Country. They are looking look forward to experiencing everything the greater Raquette Lake area has to offer, and they are open to any suggestions of things to do and see.
