In many ways over a long period of time, Dean Pohl gave so much to St. Williams on Long Point. The Pohls supported us by Pohl Construction barging gravel, dirt or other construction items; having the WW Durant stop for tours as part of their cruises; building the dock to accommodate the Durant; and donating food and beverages for our fundraisers. Dean, and Donna, have always been ready to help without charge or expense. We owe Dean a debt of gratitude that we can never repay.

The Pohls have suggested that memorial contributions be made to St. Williams in lieu of flowers. We will remember this kindness forever!

They do look serious. Here is an interesting article I found: about not smiling in old photos: time.com/4568032/smile-serious-old-photos/

Not a very happy group.

What a great picture!!

Far left I think the one guy has a peg leg? Very unusual photo. The hats on the young girls? What nationality do you think they might be?

Amazing!
